Tom DeLonge Denies Leaving Blink-182 Although Band Says He Has

There’s something a little weird going on in the Blink-182 camp with Tom DeLonge.

After it was reported that guitarist Tom DeLonge was not going to be playing with the band at the Musink Music Festival, replaced by Matt Skiba of the Alkaline Trio, the remaining members of Blink-182 released a statement saying that Tom would be gone “indefinitely”.

All of the press surrounding the situation caused DeLonge to go on his Instagram and Facebook accounts and state that he definitely has not left the band.

Obviously, the tone is one of frustration, especially with his bandmates and/or their management. Time will tell what happens but, most likely, this isn’t the last time we’ll be talking about Blink-182 over the next few days.
