Zoe Kravitz, daughter of Lenny Kravitz, granddaughter of Roxie Roker, has been cast as Catwoman for the 2021 Batman movie ‘The Batman’.

Zoe has played Catwoman before, but you only heard her. She was Catwoman in 2017’s ‘The Lego Batman Movie’.

The 60’s Batman TV series had three Catwoman character over its three seasons with Julie Newmar, Lee Merriweather and Eartha Kitt playing the role.

Michelle Pfeiffer was the first of the big screen Catwoman characters for 1992’s Batman Returns. Halle Berry was Catwoman in the 2004 ‘Catwoman movie and Anna Hathaway played the part in 2012 in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.

Zoe Kravitz is the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. Lenny will tour Australia in 2020 for Bluesfest.

Lenny’s mother Roxie Roker played Helen Willis in the 70s sitcom The Jeffersons. Lenny’s second-cousin is TV weatherman Al Roker.

Zoe also has the band Lolawolf.

The Batman will be released in 2021. Robert Pattinson will play Batman.
