The life and career of rock icon Billy Idol is set to be explored on the big screen in the feature-length documentary Billy Idol Should Be Dead, which will receive a wide theatrical release in early 2026. Evan Saxon Productions has acquired the global theatrical rights to the film, which was directed by three-time Grammy winner Jonas Åkerlund and produced by Live Nation Studios.

You Got Gold - A Celebration Of John Prine, the highly anticipated live concert documentary, has extended its theatrical run at New York's Quad Cinema to three weeks following its November 28 debut. Produced by RadicalMedia and Oh Boy Pictures, and distributed by Abramorama, the film honours the life and work of the late American singer-songwriter, and was filmed at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is attempting to halt the global release of Sean Combs, The Reckoning, with lawyers issuing a cease-and-desist to Netflix hours before the four-part documentary is set to air. The series, executive-produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and directed by Alexandra Stapleton, is already attracting intense scrutiny due to claims it contains stolen and unauthorised footage.

Netflix will present Sean Combs: The Reckoning on 2 December, a four-part documentary series chronicling the rise and fall of Sean “Diddy” Combs, a figure whose influence shaped mainstream hip-hop for more than three decades. The series arrives during a period in which Combs is serving a federal sentence following his conviction for two counts of transportation for purposes of prostitution, a ruling delivered in July and followed by a sentence of 50 months and a fine of $500,000.
