Sparks companion EP

Sparks will have a new album for 2025. ‘Mad!’ will be their first album on their new label Transgressive Records.

Sparks have added Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane shows to Australia while they visit for the Harvest Festival.

Harvest II has been announced for Adelaide with Jamiroquai (Australian exclusive), Beck (Australian exclusive), Paul Kelly, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Thelma Plum, Santigold, Sparks, Julia Jacklin, Bright Eyes, Flight Facilities (decade DJ set), Chet Faker, Chromeo, Ocean Alley, Vera Blue, Baker Boy, Ladyhawke, The Rolling Stones Revue (Ft. Adalita, Tex Perkins and Tim Rogers), The Lemon Twigs, Built to Spill, Bad//Dreems, Sam Barber and more to be announced.

Australian actress Cate Blanchett was a surprise dancer for Sparks at their Glastonbury show on the weekend.

Australia’s Cate Blanchett is the star of the new Sparks video ‘The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte’. Cate performs a wild dance while Russell Mael sings behind her and his brother and Sparks’ co-founder Ron Mael sits behind with a latte, gets up to clean wipe his table, sits down again and then stands up.

Sparks have started work on their next album.
