The band’s classic 1972 double album, Rock of Ages, is being expanded to four-CDs and 1-DVD for Live at the Academy of Music 1971, out on September 17 from Capitol/UMe. A shorter 2-CD set will also be released.

On Wednesday night, a long list of performers will come together at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ for the Love For Levon concert, a tribute to the late Levon Helm and a benefit for his estate to help them keep ownership of home, barn and studio and to continue the weekly Midnight Ramble
The public has been invited to the studio of Levon Helm in Woodstock, NY on Thursday to celebrate the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members life and work. Helm died on April 19 after a battle with throat cancer.
