Melbourne’s Live at the Gardens series will hit euphoric heights this November with a triple-bill of Australian electronic heavyweights. Miami Horror, Sneaky Sound System and Bag Raiders will join forces for a one-night-only dancefloor celebration under the stars at the Royal Botanic Gardens on Saturday, 29 November 2025.

Berlin-based producer Mechatok, born Emir Timur Tokdemir in 1998, is set to make his Australian debut with a four-city headline tour in March 2026. Kicking off in Brisbane before heading to Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, the tour marks a new chapter in the rising star’s career. Tickets go on sale at 11 am local time on Friday, 29 August.

Spandau Ballet, one of the defining names of 80s British pop, will revisit their origins with the release of Everything Is Now – Vol 1: 1978-1982, a nine-disc box set capturing their most creative and radical formative years. The collection, due September 12 through Parlophone, brings together their groundbreaking debut albums, singles, BBC sessions, demos and rare live footage in the most comprehensive archive of the band’s first chapter ever assembled.

Teenager, the Nick Littlemore of PNAU and Empire of the Sun and Ladyhawke collaboration, has premiered their second song ‘Sail The Seas’.

The blue-coloured- light drenched the stage, signifying the trademark colour of Rising. Beth Gibbons is here as part of Rising festival to showcase her solo album, Lives Outgrown, with a seven- piece band of musicians. Gibbons last toured Melbourne 15 years ago with proponents of trip hop, Portishead, appearing at Harvest Festival. There she was bathed in the golden afternoon rays of sunlight, but now she’s obscured by stage lights in alternating hues. Her musicians are backlit and positioned either side of the stage in groups of three and the keyboardist is in the centre behind Gibbons.
