Bluesfest 2013 is still six months away but Noise11.com is hearing a very strong rumour that Iggy & The Stooges will be on the list when the first announcement is made.

Iggy & The Stooges last played in Australia for Big Day Out in 2011. Iggy Pop’s most recent album ‘Apres’ was released earlier this month.

Bluesfest 2013 dates are March 28 to April 1.

An announcement for Bluesfest is expected to be made in the next few weeks.

The Bluesfest 2012 included John Fogerty, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Yes, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Pogues, The Specials, Buddy Guy, Cold Chisel and Trombone Shorty.
