Lined up for the night is Aerosmith, Boston, James Taylor, Carole King, Jimmy Buffett, Jason Aldean, the J. Geils Band, New Kids on the Block, Godsmack, Extreme, Steven Wright and Dane Cook, plus more are expected to be added in the coming days.

Donnie Wahlberg of NKOTB, a native of Boston, said “Like so many other proud Bostonians who have been extremely generous, we are honored to step up and do our part to help the victims and their families. Hopefully this event will not only raise money, but spirits as well.”

James Taylor added “The One Fund event at the Garden this May 30th is destined to be a true Boston landmark. From the promoters to the sound & lights, to the performers and the Garden staff; everyone involved has responded from the heart in a spontaneous and simultaneous desire to be there, and to do what we can for the city we love. I am honored to be a part of it, and I can’t wait.”

The One Fund Boston was set up by Mayor Thomas Menino in the wake of the April 15 Boston Marathon bombings. All proceeds from the concert will go to the fund.
