Backstreet Boys To Tour Australia In May

in Live,News

Backstreet Boys will be back in Australia in May with original member Kevin Richardson touring Australia for the first time in over a decade.

Richardson left the group in 2006 after 13 years. Aside from the occasional guest appearance occasionally for one song, Richardson was an ex-BSB for almost eight years. He returned in mid-2012.

On his time away from Backstreet Boys Kevin Richardson modelled for Versace and Vogue and was the ambassador for TAG Heuer. He also tried acting, appearing on Sabrina The Teenage Witch, This Is The End, Sesame Street and Arthur. He also once played the part of Billy in the Broadway production of Chicago.

“This last year and a half of touring with my bandmates again couldn’t have been any better, but I’m so excited to finally get back to Australia and play for our Aussie fans. It wouldn’t feel complete without spending time in one of our favorite places!”, Kevin Richardson said in a statement.

Backstreet Boys dates

May 8, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena
May 9, Sydney, Allphones Arena
May 10. Brisbane, Entertainment Centre
May 15, Perth, Perth Arena

Tickets for all shows will go on sale on February 23.
