Bring Me The Horizon Adelaide Show TUESDAY Cancelled

by Paul Cashmere on September 20, 2016

in News

Bring Me The Horizon has cancelled the Adelaide show for tonight (SEPT 29) due to illness.

In a statement from promoter Live Nation:

“Unfortunately we have no choice but to cancel tonight’s show in Adelaide. Oli has a viral infection which has caused his throat to become very infected and he is hardly able to speak, let alone sing.

“We have been looking forward to coming back to Adelaide since 2013 and we’re genuinely gutted about this, this tour has been one of the best tours we’ve been involved with and the crowds have been unbelievable.

“We wanted nothing more than to perform tonight but when it’s physically impossible to sing then our hands are tied. We are so sorry for this and we hope you understand we have done everything we possibly can in the last 48hrs to make this show happen.

We will make this up to you as soon as we possibly can Adelaide.”

All ticket holders for tonight’s show may obtain a full refund from the point of purchase.

Tickets purchased by credit or debit card will be refunded in full (including ticket insurance premium, if relevant) and patrons do not need to take any action. Patrons should allow up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in their account.

Patrons who purchased tickets with cash or EFTPOS will be contacted via phone in the next 7 days to arrange for a full refund.

Further refund enquiries should be directed to ticketek.com.au.

The final shows of the national tour, at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena this Thursday and Friday, will go ahead as scheduled.

Bring Me The Horizon, Live Nation and Unified apologize for any disappointment.
