Jackson Browne Announces Full Band Summer Tour

by Roger Wink, VVN Music on February 25, 2016

in Live,News

Jackson Browne has been busy on the road this winter and into the spring with his acoustic show but, starting June 3, he will be back on the road with his full band.

Browne, who performed on the Grammys with the surviving members of the Eagles in a salute to the late Glenn Frey, will bring along his longtime band mates Val McCallum (guitar), Mauricio Lewak (Drums), Jeff Young (keyboards), Bob Glaub (bass), Alethea Mills (Vocals) and the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Greg Leisz (guitar, lap steel, pedal steel).

Jackson said, “This is my ideal band, with some of my favorite players, whose combined gifts provide the musical foundation and emotional underpinnings of my new songs. The interplay between Val McCallum and Greg Leisz – the effortlessness of their chemistry is a gift really, that just dropped into my lap. I feel fortunate to have them out on the road for this tour.”

The tour begins June 3 in Pittsburgh and runs through the months before taking July off. Browne is back on the road in August, finishing up the tour on August 29 and 30 in San Diego, CA.
