LCD Soundsystem will perform a pre-Coachella warm-up show tonight in LA but there shows so far have shown no hint of new music.
James Murphy confirmed a new LCD Soundsystem album in January and a yet-to-be titled album sits in the upcoming releases list from Sony’s Columbia Records label. However, there has been no road-testing of the new material so far at any of the shows.
LCD Soundsystem announced tonight’s show at the Fox Theater in Pomona on the weekend and made tickets available from four music stores in LA that morning.
