Snot Reform To Play 1997 Get Some In Australia From Start To Finish

Nu-Metal punks Snot have reformed and will tour Australia to perform their 1997 debut album ‘Get Some’.

Snot was formed by the now departed Lynn Strait in Santa Barbara, California in 1994. The band signed with Geffen Records and released the critically acclaimed but poor seller ‘Get Some’ in May, 1997.

Snot was never far from controversy. In 1998 Strait was arrested for indecent exposure at an Ozzfest gig in Massachusetts. He was killed in a car accident on December 11, 1998.

The remaining members of Snot decided to disband after Straits death but completed a second album ‘Strait Up’ with guest singers as a tribute album to their late singer. Members of Korn, Limp Bizkit, Soulfly, Coal Chamber, Slipknot, Incubus and Sevendust shared vocals on the record. The album peaked at 56 on the US Billboard chart.

The reunion features original members Sonny Mayo, Mike Doling, John Fahnestock and Jamie Miller with Vitiate frontman Carl Bensley on vocals.

Snot dates

October 15, Newcastle, Small Ballroom
October 16, Sydney, Manning Bar
October 17, Melbourne, Corner Hotel
October 18, Adelaide, Fowlers
October 21, Perth, Amplifier
