Tammy died in 1998 at the age of 55 and was only 25 when she recorded ‘Stand By Your Man’ in 1968. It won her a Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999 then selected for the Library of Congress in 2010 for addition to the National Recording Registry.

Dave Aude has created the new 2012 club dance mix. Aude has remixed Madonna, Sting, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Beyonce, U2, and Coldplay, to name a few. He has amassed 75 no. 1 Billboard hits since 1996.

The Dave Aude remix of ‘Stand By Your Man’ marks the first time Tammy has had a dance hit since her 1991 vocal for The KLF on ‘Justified And Ancient’.

The ‘Stand By Your Man’ remixes will be available from June 15 through Sony.
