While Tex Perkins and the other members of local heroes The Cruel Sea have been working on different projects, the original band retains its cache as a titan of bluesy tropicalia.

They were excellent at Golden Plains last year, and revived again to perform at the globally-renowned MONA in Hobart at the beginning of this year. They’re also booked for the Queenscliff Music Festival and Coolum’s Golden Days Festival in November.

So while they’re at it, why not book some sideshows in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide?

Tickets for the Sydney date are on sale now through Ticketek, and through Moshtix for Melbourne and Adelaide.

The Cruel Sea Tour
Friday 18 November – The Metro, Sydney
Thursday 24 November – Prince Of Wales, Melbourne
Friday 25 November – The Gov, Adelaide
