The Rolling Stones dropped the banned songs ‘Brown Sugar’ and ‘Honky Tonk Women’ from their Shanghai setlist on Wednesday night despite playing them earlier in the week in Macau.

China has banned five Rolling Stones songs including ‘Brown Sugar’ and ‘Honky Tonk Women’ as well as ‘Beast Of Burden’, ‘Let’s Spend The Night Together’ and ‘Rough Justice’.

Macau is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of People’s Republic of China and has its own laws. The Chinese song ban did not apply to the Macau show.
