Tiff and Kent of Melbourne duo The Gracemakers talk about their upbringings and the inspirations that shaped their melodic folk debut.

On their first, self-titled EP, singer Tiffany Kommedal and guitarist Kent Morris display finely-crafted sound, which evokes love, passion, hurt and hope.

Here they talk about their strangely secret musical heritages, their enviable beachside writing process, Kent’s dedication to helping Indigenous inmates by helping exhibit their art, Tiff’s artistic revelation, a reverence for the natural world, and heaps more.
