Sydney’s 5 Seconds Of Summer has the number 2 record in America this week with tho ‘She Looks So perfect’ EP.

The Australian boy band sold around 143,000 placing it fairly close to the 148,000 the Frozen soundtrack sold last week but not enough to get it to the top of the US chart.

5 Seconds of Summer are Luke Hemmings (lead vocals, guitar), Michael Clifford (guitar, vocals), Calum Hood (bass guitar, vocals) and Ashton Irwin (drums, vocals). They are signed to Capitol Records worldwide.

The southern region is well represented on the US this week. New Zealand’s Lorde ‘Pure Heroine’ is hovering at the bottom end of the Top 10 with a further 19,000 sales while The Used ‘Imaginary Enemy’, featuring new Sydney resident Bert McCracken has sold around 18,000 copies.

Albums set to debut in the US Top 20 this week are:

Chevelle – La Gargola
Christina Perri – Head Or Heart
Dan + Shay – Where It All Began
Nickel Creek – Dotted Line
