Duane McDonald’s annual One Electric Day music festival outside Melbourne sold out in three minutes this morning.

Duane founded Regional Touring to bring Australia’s greatest live acts to regional areas by putting on major events the size of what is usual for the big cities.

One Electric Day is at Werribee, midway between Melbourne and Geelong.

For 2017, One Electric Day will feature John Farnham, Daryl Braithwaite, Baby Animals, Diesel, 1927 and Reece Mastin & Taylor Sheridan.

“I’m really stoked that Australian music fans have been so supportive of One Electric Day,” Duane tells Noise11.com. “What One Electric Day proves is that Australians want to hear Australian music live. Farnham, Braithwaite, Diesel, Baby Animals, 1927 all on one bill mean the Aussie music fans will hear over two dozen Aussie music hits by the original Aussie artists live in one afternoon and that is something the Australian Music Industry can be proud of”.

One Electric Day is on The Great Lawn at Werribee Park Sunday November 26 2017.
