Bluesfest Third Announcement: Jack Johnson, Elvis Costello, Kasey Chambers

Jack Johnson, Elvis Costello & The Attractions and Kasey Chambers have been added to Bluesfest 2013.

Other new acts heading to Bluesfest are Passenger, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, Trixie Whitley, The Soul Rebels, Clairy Browne & The Bangin’ Rackettes and the return of RockWiz Live.

Bluesfest’s first two announcements included John Mayer, The Dave Matthews Band, The Doobie Brothers, Aaron Neville, Erykah Badu, Gregg Allman and Boz Scaggs.

In a statement Festival Director Peter Noble said, “Many of the greatest of the fraternity of musicians around the world are coming to Bluesfest for our greatest one yet – our 25th. Included in that, are many members of the Bluesfest family both old and new. We welcome back home some of our favourites in this, our third Announcement: Kasey Chambers, Jack Johnson, The cast of RocKwiz. Along with Bluesfest family members from our previous announcements Michael Franti & Spearhead, John Butler and all the others, who are becoming family, or are about to find out that at Bluesfest – they have a creative home – one where their art is respected on a profound basis”.

John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Iron & Wine, Aaron Neville, Erykah Badu, John Butler Trio, Gregg Allman, Boz Scaggs, Doobie Brothers, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeross, India.Arie, Dr John & The Nite Trippers, Morcheeba, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Devendra Banhart, Michael Franti & Spearhead, The Wailers, Jimmie Vaughan, Gary Clark Jr, Suzanne Vega, Ozomatli, CW Stoneking, Allen Stone, Larry Graham & Graham Central Station, KT Tunstall, Robben Ford, Grandmothers of Invention, The Magic Band, Valerie June, Nikki Hill, The Paladins, Music Maker Foundation Feat. Pat Wilder, Cool John Ferguson and Little Freddie King.

Bluesfest 2014 is on over the Easter long weekend 17 – 21 April, 2014.
