Christina Aguilera is learning to ’embrace’ her sexuality.

The 31-year-old singer is no stranger to showing off her body in sexy outfits. Since entering her 30s, Christina is discovering that she can still flaunt her curves on stage and be a mom at home with her young son Max.
‘The older you get, the more important it is to embrace your body and your sexuality… I can wear different hats – for example, the artist hat. When I’m on that stage and I’ve been in the wardrobe getting dressed up to play a character, I am living out a specific moment in a song,’ she told British newspaper The Sun. ‘The purpose of it is to come off tongue-in-cheek, or playful, and experience my own sexuality and embrace what I am doing as a woman.
‘That hat is very different to the one I wear when I go home at night and I tuck my son in and I’m singing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.’
The star has always had a strong identity and hopes her son will grow up to realise that. She wants her child to be proud of who he is ‘ and what his mom has done in her career.
‘I’m an artist first and foremost but Max is my son, four-and-a-half years old, and means the absolute world to me,’ she explained. ‘I want him to grow up knowing that I stayed true to myself as an artist and that was my passion in life. Hopefully that will inspire him. If I was a painter and my thing was painting beautiful nude pictures on canvas, if I had a child I wouldn’t stop painting those beautiful nude pictures. Is music any different?’
Christina is currently promoting her new album Lotus.
