Dolly Parton Injured In Car Accident

Dolly Parton has sustained minor injuries after the her vehicle was hit by another car in Nashville.

Parton was a passenger in a van that was hit just before Noon when the car pulled into an intersection without warning. Dolly and the driver of the car, Judy Ogle, were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where they were treated. The driver of Parton’s van, Diane Lish, was taken to Centennial Medical Center.

According to police, Lish failed to yield before entering the intersection. There is no word if she was ticketed.

Dolly is reportedly home and doing well. She Tweeted her fans, saying “I was in a fender bender this morning here in Nashville, but I am all good … Just a little tired and sore. Resting at home now!”

Dolly Parton will tour Australia in February, 2014.
