Gotye To Play Major Venues On Australian Tour

Gotye will play his first major tour of Australia in December.

Wally De Backer (aka Gotye) has locked in dates in some major venues including the Myer Music Bowl in his hometown of Melbourne.

The announcement comes in a big year for Gotye. His ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ song spent eight weeks at number one on the American chart and has clocked up over 254 million views on YouTube.

Gotye will perform with a 10-piece band.

Dates are:

December 6, Adelaide, Entertainment Centre
December 8, Melbourne, Sidney Myer Music Bowl
December 12, Brisbane, Riverstage
December 14, Sydney, Entertainment Centre
