Janet Jackson opened her Unbreakable World Tour on Monday night at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC with a hits heavy set of 32 songs.

Opening and closing the show with songs from her upcoming album Unbreakable, she would perform five songs from the new set, leaving a generous 27 for her hits and album tracks.

Dipping back to her breakout album, 1986’s Control, the singer performed six songs from the set along with six from janet. (1993) and seven from Rhythm Nation 1814 (1989). Other songs were scattered from the majority of her other post-Control albums except for 2006’s 20 Y.O.

Of Jackson’s 24 top ten singles in the U.S. she didn’t perform Because of Love (1994 / #10), Any Time, Any Place (1994 / #2), You Want This (1994 / #8), Runaway (1995 / #3), Doesn’t Really Matter (2000 / #1) and Someone to Call Me Lover (2001 / #3).
