Justin Bieber has made a surprise appearance and performance at the last place on Earth you would expect to find him – SXSW, Austin, Tx.
Bieber, flanked by his newly reunited girlfriend Selena Gomez, sang two acoustic songs on Sunday night at Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden in Austin, midway through SXSW Interactive.
Gomez stood side of stand during the performance while Bieber serenaded her with his song ‘As Long As You Love Me’ as well as his hit song ‘Boyfriend’. “The next song goes out to my baby,” Bieber said from the stage before performing ‘As Long As You Love Me’.
For 25 years SXSW became the place for indie artists worldwide to showcase their new music. In recent years acts high profile pop acts like Justin Timberlake have used the available industry crowd to promote their brands.
This year at SXSW, Lady Gaga will be the keynote speaker.
