Here’s something you don’t see everyday. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before. An honest press release.

Frontier Touring Company today announced the cancellation of the Madeleine Peyroux Australian tour.

“The Frontier Touring Company regret to inform fans that due to poor ticket sales, the tour scheduled for Madeleine Peyroux in March will not be going ahead as planned,” the release reads.

Wow – a concert cancelled for “poor ticket sales” and not because of a “scheduling conflict” and “unforeseen circumstances”.

So, its bad news for Madeline Peyroux fans but some nice honest work from the peeps at Frontier Touring.
