Metallica wrapped up their Soundwave appearances in Australia with their final show last night in Perth.

Once again the setlist included some special moments unique to the Perth show, as they did for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide as well.

‘Metal Militia’ from the first album ‘Kill Em All’ was placed in the middle of the encore. Metallica had not performed the song live since 2004 and have only ever played it 82 times including last night’s show. ‘Metal Militia’ has only been played by Metallica eight times since 1985.

‘Through The Never’ from the Black album also made its first appearance on this tour in Perth.
