Stupid has a poster girl. Miley Cyrus will stop being “sexual” at 40.
The former Hannah Montana star isn’t afraid to show off her provocative side and made headlines with her skimpy clothing and daring dance moves at the MTV Video Music Awards this year.
While she’s happy stripping down and putting on a show during her youth, 20-year-old Miley thinks there’s a time limit on being sexy.
‘No, because this is just like who I am,” she told the Today show”s Matt Lauer when asked if her sultry image is just a phase.
‘I think it’s only hard if you’re trying to be something you’re not… Being who you are is really easy if you’re really true to that. I heard when you turn 40 things start to go a little less sexual. So probably around 40, I heard that’s when people don’t have sex anymore. I guess maybe [I”ll stop] around then.’
The cheeky star continued to press her point when Matt asked how old she thinks he is.
Miley responded with 40, but was shocked to hear he is actually 55 years old.
’55? Oh, well, then you’re really definitely not sexual,” she grinned.
The singer appears completely nude in the video that accompanies her latest track Wrecking Ball.
Terry Richardson shot the promo and also a set of photos that show Miley simulating sex.
The We Can”t Stop singer is currently embroiled in a feud with Sinead O”Connor, after the 46-year-old penned an open letter warning Miley not to let herself be exploited by the industry.
In return, the young star responded on Twitter, alluding to Sinead’s mental health issues and comparing her to troubled actress Amanda Bynes.
‘I think she is an incredible artist and I was inspired by her for my Wrecking Ball video which started the whole thing,’ Miley said of Sinead. ‘I don’t know how someone can start a fight with someone that’s saying, ‘I respect you and love what you did’ [responding with], ‘You suck and I don’t like you.'”
