Oasis May Not Reform For 20 Years

Alan McGee is the man who “discovered” Oasis and signed them to his Creation Records, so he has a unique view into the minds of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher and that mind says there’s no reunion of the band anytime in the near future.

After many different reports of peace between the Gallagher’s and a reforming of the band, McGee decided to tell the British paper The Mirror that “Liam and Noel are the happiest I’ve seen them in years so for that reason I can’t see a reunion happening.”

He went on to say “I’ve met Noel on numerous occasions recently and bumped into Liam a few times and we’ve had lengthy conversations and a reunion has never been discussed.”

Still, McGee says he wouldn’t be shocked to see a reunion “at some point in the next twenty years” so fans can, at least, hang their hat on that much.
