Kiss founder Paul Stanley performed for the cameras with his soul band Soul Station at West Hollywood’s famed Roxy on Friday night and the show will be coming soon to DVD.

The Soul Station band was Paul Stanley (vocals); Eric Singer (drums, backing vocals); Sean Hurley (bass); Alex Alessandroni (keyboard); Ely Rise (keyboard); Rafael ‘Hoffa’ Moreira (guitar) with backing vocals from Nelson Beato, Crystal Starr, Ayana Layli and with Ramon ‘Ray’ Yslas on percussion.

There was no make-up and no Kiss covers. The show was 100% Stanley soul. While Kiss drummer Eric Singer was in the band, Stanley’s Kiss cofounder Gene Simmons was watching from the audience.

Stanley is expected to make Soul Station his thing when Kiss are in recess.
