Pink DVD Outsells Dami Im Album

Pink’s ‘The Truth About Love’ live DVD filmed in Melbourne has outsold reality TV star Dami Im’s debut album in first week sales.

The Pink DVD sold 25,344 units and was about 2,000 sales in front of the high profile talent contest winner with 23,355 sales.

Dami Im became the first winner of an X Factor show to have a number one album in Australia. She stopped the three week ride at the top from Eminem who dropped back to no. 3 with 12,197 sales for ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’. Katy Perry ‘Prism’ was at no 2 with 13,033 sales.

Three other albums debuted in the Australian top 10 this week. They were Little Mix ‘Salute’ at no. 4 with 5,640 sales; Robbie Williams ‘Swing Both Ways’ at no. 5 with 4,842 sales and Nickelback ‘The Best of Nickelback Volume 1’ at no. 6 with 4,638 sales.
