Red Hot Summer Kiama Postponed Due To Weather

by Paul Cashmere on March 17, 2017

in News,Noise Pro

The Red Hot Summer sold-out event for Kiama on the New South Coast has been postponed due to the high winds in the area.

John Farnham is headlining the Red Hot Summer event with James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Shannon Noll and Taxiride also on the bill.

The show has been rescheduled for April 9.

Statement from Regional Touring:

Due to extreme weather conditions, tomorrow’s sold-out event at Kiama Showground has been cancelled and rescheduled to Sunday, April 9. This is due to over 150ml of rain falling in the past 24 hours, and 75 – 100ml & high winds forecast for tomorrow. The weather has left many roads and public transport closed. The weather has also left the site unsafe to proceed. The new date will feature the same lineup and times. Patrons who cannot attend the new date are asked to contact their point of purchase by 5 pm Friday, March 24 for a full refund. We apologise for any inconvenience but believe that your safety is paramount, and hope you can join us on the new date.
