Russell Morris will tour his Top 10 album Van Dieman’s Land across Australia in August.

‘Van Dieman’s Land’ is Morris’ second album in a trilogy telling the story of the colourful characters of Australia’s past. The first album ‘Sharkmouth’ was one of the biggest selling albums of 2013, achieving platinum status for the veteran rock star.

In 2014 Morris continued his Australia storytelling with Van Dieman’s Land featuring special guests Rick Springfield, Rob Hirst of Midnight Oil, Joe Camilleri and Scott Owen of The Living End. The album debuted at no. 4 on the ARIA chart and has not left the chart since. It has also topped the ARIA Jazz and Blues charts and Australian Album Chart.
