American singer songwriter Toni Childs has almost finished work on her next album ‘Citizens of the Planet’ and she has now launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund to create animations for the live experience.

For the tour Toni is hoping to showcase two-hours of 3D visuals and that costs $100,000 to produce.

She has partnered with crowd-funding company Kickstarter to help raise the funds. So far 133 fans have pledged for the project.

“This is massive and beautiful and incredible … and I could not have done it without my fans, friends and family on Social Media,” she tells Noise11.com.

“So, I just launched a Kickstarter Campaign to fund 14 animators to create the mind-blowing visual content that will really make my ‘Citizens of the Planet- Live Experience’ a concert you will never forget”.

Toni first hit big in Australia when her singles ‘Stop Your Fussin’ and ‘Don’t Walk Away’’ both went Top 40. She was then nominated for two Grammy Awards for ‘Best New Artist’ and ‘Best Rock Vocal Performance’ for ‘Don’t Walk Away’.

Her second album generated another hit song with ‘I’ve Got To Go Now’ while the title track was used in the movie ‘Thelma and Louise’.

In April 2012, Toni Childs left her home in Hawaii and migrated to Australia.
