Neil was operated on this morning and according to bandmate Nikki Sixx the operation was a success.

With 30 minutes of the operation, Neil tweeted, “Just out of surgery. Spent night in hospital probably have to again tonight. Thank you all for the kind words and prayers”.

He also sent thanks to the staff of the hospital. “Huge thank you to all the paramedics at the All Phones Arena, the ambulance paramedics, the nurses, doctors and Staff,” he tweeted.

Vince is expected to continue the tour and perform tomorrow night in Brisbane. “Doc says I should have a full recovery and be back onstage for the Brisbane show tomorrow. Thanks to my bandmates and crew for your support,” he wrote.
