Virgil Donati To Return To Taste For Guest Appearance

Taste’s original drummer Virgil Donati will rejoin the band for shows over the coming week in Bendigo and Melbourne.

Donati predates the Taste name joining the band when they were still called Cloud 9. Donati made three albums with Taste before moving to the USA but returned in the 80s to join Southern Sons.

Donati will rejoin Taste for the Bendigo Festival this weekend and then an appearance at Ding Dong in Melbourne on Good Friday, March 25. Special guests for the Ding Dong show are Waleed Aly’s band Robot Child.

Taste will release the new album ‘Life On Earth’ in May. Remastered versions of their 70s albums ‘Tickle Your Fancy’ and ‘Knights of Love’ were reissued in 2015.
