Dirty Three are heading out on the road playing some of the biggest headline shows of their twenty year career.
The band hit the road in March and head around the country playing at all the major cities, as well as a spot at the One Perfect Day festival in Mossvale.
Fans might note there is a gap around Golden Plains, who according to their website still have a few bands to be announced. Could this dirty trio of beardy men be gracing the Meredith stage again?
People not yet familiar with Dirty Three may be familiar with violinist Warren Ellis’ scratchy sounds on records by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Grinderman. Their live show is not something you want to die without seeing. Often dragging the audience with them on their journeys through epic and climactic instrumentals, one could say it’s a religious experience that this tour is offering.
