Dixie Chicks will come to Australia in 2017 for CMC Rocks QLD in March.

So far the March date is the only Australian date for Dixie Chicks but expect a full national tour to be announced soon.

Dixie Chicks is the first act named for CMC Rocks QLD so far for 2017. The full artist line-up is coming on October 7.

CMC Rock QLD had to move dates to accommodate Dixie Chicks.

“Securing Dixie Chicks to headline the 2017 installment of CMC Rocks QLD is a major coup, and we’re thrilled”, said promoter Rob Potts. “It’s unfortunate that Dixie Chicks had a major commitment shift, meaning they are unable to attend the festival dates we had already announced.

CMC Rocks QLD will celebrate its 10th anniversary in next year. The event at Willowbank Raceway has become the biggest country festival in the southern hemisphere.

CMC Rocks QLD is now on March 24 to 26, 2017.
