Maroon 5 Announce Australian Dates

Maroon 5 will be back in Australia in September but they will only play in Sydney and Melbourne.

The origins of Maroon 5 date back to 1994 when Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael and Mickey Madden first played together as Kara’s Flowers. Kara’s Flowers released one album ‘The Fourth World’ in 1997. It stiffed.

In 2001 they recruited a new member James Valentine and changed their name to Maroon 5. The first Maroon 5 album ‘Songs About Jane’ was released in June 2002. It was a number one album in Australia.

Maroon 5 have now clocked up 15 Top 40 hit songs in Australia.

Maroon 5 will perform in Australia for Live Nation. Tickets will go on sale at 2pm February 23.
