Meat Loaf Unretires For US Tour

by Paul Cashmere on July 21, 2015

in Live,News

Meat Loaf has unretired. The Bat Out Of Hell hit maker will return to the stage after announcing in 2013 that he would never tour again.

In May 2013 Meat Loaf told the world that his then tour was going to be his last tour because his “body could no longer handle the stress that his shows require”.

He even christened the tour ‘Last At Bat Farewell Tour’.

Now the first ever Texan transvestite (thanks to his Rocky Horror role) will be back on stage starting on October 23 in Temecula, California.

“As a performing artist, being in front of a live audience is a feeling you can’t get with anything else,” Meat Loaf said in a statement. “The adrenaline you feel when the fans are singing along with the words to your songs, combined with their loyalty, is an amazing feeling. After all, I didn’t start yesterday, and they’ve been with me every step of the way.”

Meat Loaf dates

October 23, Temecula, Perchanga Theatre
October 28, Dallas, Verizon Theatre
November 3, Detroit, Motor City Casino
November 11, Westbury, Theatre at Westbury
November 17, Bethlehem, Sands Event Centre
November 19, Engelwood, Bergen PAC

More dates will be announced soon.
