Michael Franti Soulshine Concert Downgraded For Melbourne

by Paul Cashmere on February 17, 2015

in Live,News

Michael Franti’s Soulshine concert has been dramatically downgraded from the 5445 capacity Festival Hall to the 950 capacity Prince Bandroom.

Bluesfest Touring, the promoter of the Franti tour, has explained the change of venue as “due to logistical challenges”.

Michael Franti’s Soulshine concert will feature Michael Franti & Spearheads with American rock and reggae artist Trevor Hall. However, previously announced SOJA will no longer perform at the Melbourne show and has instead added an extra Bluesfest performance on that same day of Thursday April 2.

Michael Franti’s Soulshine concert and yoga jam will still go ahead as previously announced at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Sunday 5th April 2015 and at Bluesfest on Monday 6th April 2015.

Bluesfest Melbourne Day Two was a rollercoaster ride. There was so much great music packed into one day that it was impossible to see it all.
