With an election looming singer songwriter Missy Higgins is urging the 600,000 Australians not registered to vote to do something about it.
“Did you know 600,000 young Australians are not properly registered to vote,” she says in a YouTube video.
Australian’s will elect the 44th Parliament of September 14, 2013.
If you have not registered to vote or have changed address since you last voted, do something about it now.
“Force be with you soon my votey friends,” says Missy.
Enrolments to vote for the next Federal Election close on August 19.
