Motley Crue Officially Announce Retirement After One Final Tour

Motley Crue have held a press conference to announce their retirement, to take effect after their final tour.

The final Motley Crue tour will feature special guest Alice Cooper.

Alice Cooper joined the press conference and talked about his current show and his going out on the new tour.

Motley Crue finally took the stage at 12:50 PM with all four members, Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars, sitting at a desk with a tombstone in front of each with their names.

Unlike other bands, the members say that this is absolutely final. They’ve taken a lot of pride in what the band has done and they think it is unfair to the fans to announce a retirement and final tour and then coming back and milking it a few years later. To that end, the four members signed a contract stating that this will be the end.

Each has plans for the future with Vince Neil continuing in music and working with his restaurants. Nikki Sixx will continue with his band Sixx AM and his radio show while Tommy Lee said that he has “interesting things.” Mick Mars said he recently moved to Nashville and that there are a lot musicians there with which to work plus he wants to finally do his solo album.
