Neil Finn To Close Bluesfest Nic Cester To Play Solo

by Paul Cashmere on February 22, 2017

in News,Noise Pro

Neil Finn will be the final performer at Bluesfest 2017.

Finn will join the Monday night line-up officially closing the 2017 event.

Solo Neil will treat Bluesfest fans to his Split Enz and Crowded House songs as well as a few solo and possible Finn Brothers pieces.

The other big Bluesfest news is a solo performance by Nic Cester of Jet. While Jet recently reunited for the Springsteen tour and a couple of Zoo concerts Nic will perform solo for Bluesfest.

This also means Jet probably don’t have too much of a future as Cester will be debuting new songs with a different band, suggesting a solo Cester album may be on the way.

Other acts added to Bluesfest are Vintage Trouble, Playing For Change, Ellis Hall, Vasti Jackson, Remi, Wilson Pickers, Round Mountain Girls, Australian Ukulele Show and Ivy.
