Noise11 iHeartRadio Special Bluesfest Edition Playlist

by Noise11.com on March 31, 2017

in News,Noise Pro

In the lead-up to Bluesfest iHeartRadio Music News powered by Noise11.com features 18 of the acts performing at Australia’s biggest music festival (with a couple of Thorpie’s thrown in at the end just because).

Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull goes to great lengths to explain why he hates festivals but he is still coming regardless (because he likes US dollars) and soul legend Booker T tells us how his Bluesfest show will be a tribute to the Stax label he help create in the 60s.

Noise11 is presenting Bluesfest sideshows for Rickie Lee Jones, Joan Osbourne, Turin Brakes, Bonnie Raitt, Booker T and Miles Electric Band. Hear the songs and find the dates in this week’s show.

As well as the acts of Bluesfest Noise11 iHeartRadio this week features the stunning new live album from Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs ‘Lock Up Your Mothers Live’ from the 1994 tour, produced by Gil Matthews.
