With the Earth, Wind & Fire Australian tour on the way, presented by Chugg Entertainment and Noise11.com, Noise11 is profiling the classic albums of Earth, Wind & Fire.

Earth, Wind & Fire’s highest charting album was ‘I Am’ in 1979. It peaked at no. 2 on the Australian album chart.

‘I Am’ delivered two chart hits for Earth, Wind & Fire in Australia. ‘Boogie Wonderland’ (with The Emotions) reached no. 6 and ‘After The Love Has Gone’ peaked at no. 62. ‘Boogie Wonderland’ to this day is considered one of the greatest disco hits of all time while ‘After The Love Has Gone’, written by David Foster, Jay Graydon and Chicago member Bill Champlin, went on to become a contemporary classic.

‘After The Love Has Gone’ scored Earth, Wind & Fire for ‘Best R&B Vocal Performance for a Duo or Group’. It was also nominated for Record of the Year.

Earth, Wind & Fire will tour Australia in April, presented by Chugg Entertainment and Noise11.com.
