Ringo Starr will tour Australia for the first time since he was a Beatle.

New Zealand dates have already been announced for early February but in his statement Ringo says, “The tour this summer was just GREAT – I love playing with this band and I can’t wait to get back out and play with them again. I am looking forward to revisiting Japan with the All Starrs and of course New Zealand and Australia. Peace & Love!”

Ringo Starr and the All-Starr Band will feature Todd Rundgren, Steve Lukather (Toto), Greg Rolie (Journey) and Richard Page (Mister Mister with Mark Rivera and Greg Bissonette.

Australian dates will be announced soon.
