Saskwatch Celebrate New Single ‘Hands’ With An East Coast Headlining Tour

by Anthony Barton on October 1, 2013

in Live,New Music,News

In a year that has seen them supporting the likes of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings and Earth, Wind and Fire, in addition to their appearances at Glastonbury and Spain’s Black Is Back Festival, Melbourne Soul outfit Saskwatch have announced a 12-date East Coast Tour and new single ‘Hands’.

‘Hands’ sees the group once again having a good time. The energy of the drumming, handclaps and their ever-present brass section, along with front woman Nkechi Anele’s supreme vocals, shows Saskwatch at their fun-filled best.

‘Hands’ is the follow-up to the single ‘I Get Lonely’ and is produced by Jarrad Brown (Eagle And The Worm), with Julian Mckenzie (Money For Rope) on engineering duties and Haima Marriott mixing.

Saskwatch’s 12-stop East Coast Tour to support the single will see them playing both Metro and Regional areas throughout November and December. Tickets on sale Tuesday October 1st.
