Suzi Quatro To Headline Red Hot Summer Music Festival Of 2018

by Paul Cashmere on June 4, 2017

in News

Suzi Quatro will return to Australia for the Red Hot Summer Tour music festival of 2018.

Suzi, like John Farnham, spends her time batting down misquotes about retirement. “I will retire when I go onstage, shake my ass and there is silence,” she said for this tour.

Rounding out the Red Hot Summer tour is Australia’s finest with The Angels, Baby Animals, Moving Pictures, The Screaming Jets and Chocolate Starfish.

Promoter Duane McDonald started Red Hot Summer eight years ago. “We have had wonderful support over the past eight years since we launched the Red Hot Summer Tour,” he says. “We wanted to make sure we could bring top-notch music to regional areas and audiences have embraced that concept. Now we have the opportunity to take the tour further afield and we will be launching shows in new venues in 2018, including taking the Red Hot Summer Tour to Western Australia for the first time ever. We can’t thank music fans enough for their support – we look forward to continuing to bring fantastic festival experiences to regional Australia.”

Tickets are on sale at 9am on Thursday 8th June 2017 through Ticketmaster.
