The Angels Announce Chris Bailey Benefit

The Angels used the podium at their Clipsal 500 appearance in Adelaide on the weekend to announce a benefit concert for their bass player Chris Bailey who was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Chris was diagnosed with the aggressive cancer in January and is undergoing chemotherapy.

The line-up for the benefit is a Who’s Who of Australian rock including the members of Cold Chisel. The show will feature Jimmy Barnes, Ian Moss, Phil Small and Don Walker, all billed individually.

Diesel will join Jimmy Barnes. Also on the bill are James Reyne, Gangajang, Swanee with The Brewster Brothers and The Angels with Dave Gleeson. Wilbur Wilde will be the MC.

‘Adelaide Salutes Chris Bailey’ will take place at the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide in April 17.
